The Gearhart Gang picked a peck of pickled pumpkins!

Well, not pickled per say, or a "peck," but we definitely picked out our pumpkins for the season!

The other day at preschool, a firetruck came to visit! Brayden kept saying his famous "Oooooo!" and really enjoyed it (although he did NOT like the fireman hat... we know what he's NOT going to be for halloween this year- anything that wears a hat!)

HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!! I just LOVE this season! (sweaters, coffee, chilli, the smell of leaves, reds/oranges/yellows, etc!!)

Some random pics from this week...

Hi all! Not too much to comment on lately- we've been busy with preschool, playdates and doctor visits, but nothing too exciting!

Here we are in our Steller garb- won't be too much longer till my jersey doesn't fit!

Brayden and daddy playing with stickers-

Reading with daddy (brayden adores his trucks, tractors & diggers!!

Brayden was playing "arts & crafts" with a highlighter while I was on the computer (and obviously not paying close enough attention!!! Luckily it was his legs and not the walls!!)

Here is a very quick video of Brayden singing "row, row, row your boat!" Since the fuse for my car radio/CD player blew, I've been forced to sing my own songs while driving with Brayden... This was the latest- and I actually think he gets more out of me singing!!

And lastly, here are some cards I've been working on... get your orders in today for christmas! ;)

OH YEAH! CHECK THIS OUT:

GET IT??? NATALIE IS PREGNANT!!! =) She is due May 6th- only 4.5 short months behind me! YAY!!!!

Brayden's day out with Thomas!

Mimi & Pop-pop took us out to the Strasburg Railroad yesterday to spend a day with Thomas! We played with the train sets, got a temporary Thomas tatoo (that he HATED), rode on the little train, got our picture with Sir Topham Hatt (who he was deathly afraid of) and of COURSE- took a ride on THOMAS himself!!

Here are some pics from our day:

THANK YOU MIMI & POP-POP! WE HAD SUCH A FUN DAY!!

Thats it for thomas pics... Today was our First Day of "Preschool" for 2 year olds!! It's more like a Mommy/daddy & me class, since someone has to stay and play/sing songs. Here's our FIRST "first day of school" photo! (TEAR!)

Labor Day Weekend '09

We spent this weekend in western PA visiting Derek's family. Derek, Dane, Chuck and Mike went to the PSU game on saturday, while Denise and I took Brayden to "Wagon Trails," a nearby "safari" type zoo. We rode on a large wagon and got to see the animals VERY close up personal while feeding them! Here are bunch of pics from that adventure!

Peacocks:

Bock, Bock! Chicken...

Gobble, gobble! This turkey loved Brayden (or was it the other way around?)

Ummm... I feel like I'm being watched...

Here's the "Poppa Chuck" goat:

Long Horned Steer- They got so close to the wagon, it was scary with those horns coming right at you!

Did I mention they got REALLY CLOSE??

Uh.... thats HOT! (Denise feeding the long horns)

Here come the geese:

"Everybody's got a water buffalo, your's is fast, but mine is slow...." (it's a veggie tales song, gimme a break!)

The Zebra: (actually #2 in the pecking order of animals at this park, coming just behind the long horns!)

The Ostrich (the most fun to feed in my opinion- they just pecked right out of the bucket of food! See the video below)

Sunday, Chuck and Denise threw a picnic for Labor day. (TONS of food and TONS of people! So much fun to catch up with everyone!!) Here are my 2 favorite girls named Alexis and Ashley! =)

The love birds... <3>

The Gearhart Great-grandkids- (standing: Brayden, Erik & Charlee, Sitting: Emilee, Evin, Chandler & Brendan)

A lot more pictures to come as soon as Nanna Gearhart shares them with me!! =)
