February Storm 09

From news reports we gather we got hit with around 18" of snow! The last time we had a snow storm, Bryce was born!! Derek and I were so excited to get out and play with Brayden this time. True to his nature, he was a big helper shoveling the drive way!

Here are Brayden and daddy before heading outside:

(That is sidewalk chalk on the front of his jacket- his new found LOVE!)

Helping, helping, helping!

Brayden "helping" daddy, but more than likely, getting in the way!

Face plant into the snow =)

At least he has a smile on his face!!

When I took him out on an adventure around the back yard, he was trying to find the deepest snow drifts to get lost in, hehe!

New video and pics

I'm not sure if the videos i've downloaded have sound anymore... our camera might be broken (which is a shame because Brayden is talking up a storm!!)

In this video, I was reading Brayden a story, but he wanted to read another book. He went to the book shelf, picked out this "I Spy" book and read it from start to finish while I read The Runaway Bunny." =) it's ADORABLE if you can hear the sound!!

Then there is a clip of Brayden and daddy shoveling the driveway this morning. He was so upset that Derek went outside without him, he kept standing by the door and looking out the windows until I got him dressed to go out and help. He's using his new shovel from Nana & Pop-pop and didn't do too bad of a job! ;) Daddy was going too fast at one point and Brayden kept spilling his shovel because he had to keep up!

Here are some pictures from the last week or so:
Brayden playing dress-up in daddy's boots and hat (he LOVES this hat, but will only wear it backwards because he hates brims)

Mommy & Bryce in the Mobi wrap- I LOVE THIS THING!!

Brayden and Bryce:
Got a good smile here, but Bryce closed his eyes just as I took the pic!

A Busy Day

Hello all! I'm trying to get better about posting things again, so bear with me!

Here are some pics from the last day or two...

We had weather in the 40's on Saturday, so I took the boys out for a walk yesterday. Besides his foam letter floor covering and the big blocks, this digger and little man is his favorite toy for the moment. He won't put it down! =) Thank you Allison & Nick!

This is Brayden's favorite shirt right now... He loves monkeys and LOVES being a big brother!!

And here is Brayden's best impression of mommy... hehe! I couldn't control myself when he pulled me over to my dresser (where I keep the pump) and wanted this peice! I thought he was pointing to various things on my dresser, and then he finally reached down to grab this!

(He couldn't find his nipple, so the belly button had to do!)

And another bathtime favorite: AVON BODY PAINTS!!

New video

Derek and I were so excited to get these blocks for brayden. Now he can be "mr. destructo" and not on our furntiture!! I'm not sure why there is no sound, but you get the picture...

(Bryce came along for the ride in the Mobi wrap, haha!)

A few pics

My last Preggie pic! SOOOOOOOO ready to pop, and I DID, the next day in the middle of "the snow storm of the century!" That will be one for the books! We ended up getting about 10-ish inches, but Philly got 24" and DC got slammed with reports of up to 3 feet!

Welcome Bryce Douglas! 7lbs, 3oz, 20.5" born @ 10:11PM Saturday, Dec 19th, 2009

Bringing home Bryce

Here is a video of moments just after we brought home the baby. Brayden reacted quite positively, with giggles and kisses- and hasn't stopped loving his little brother since! Brayden likes to point out Bryce's nose & eyes and really gets a kick out of his tiny hands. He pretty much tackles Bryce in the swing or in our lap just to give very dramatic "Muuuuuuuuah!" kisses- it's adorable! We couldn't ask for a better transition!

pics to come soon!

Thanksgiving to present day!

Haha, Peak-a-boo! This is all I see of Brayden when he wants me to pick him up or he gets too close... LOL, I need side mirrors for this wide load!

WOW! It's been entirely too long since my last update on our family. There has been so much going on, so I'll keep it short and just show pictures!

We spent Thanksgiving with the Millers in Lancaster...

Cole supervises Dad basting the TWO turkeys

The Sibs... it was SOOOOOOO nice to have Cole home for a few days! We cherish every hour we get to spend with him these days! He will be shipping out in early January (site unknown) so we'll get to see him once more around the christmas holiday.

The new Parents-to-be (Natalie & Todd)

Baking cookies with Mimi... we ended up baking 24 dozen cookies the day after Thanksgiving as part of our annual Christmas cookie bakeoff. My portion was gone 7 days later (during the move).

We moved the weekend after Thanksgiving with MAJOR help from both sets of parents, my Uncle Craig and My pop-pop Miller (move day lunch was of course provided by grandma Miller- Chicken corn soup with ham & cheese sammies). We are all moved and unpacked AND decorated for christmas!! We love it here already! We made the move because its MUCH closer to Derek's office and we have so much more space for Brayden (and our junk...).

Our addy, incase you were wondering, is:
552 W Swamp Rd
Doylestown, PA 18901

Here is our New house! (2 bedrooms, hardwood floors, 2car garage, HUGE yard, brand new kitchen, basement- with laundry! etc.)

If you're on Facebook, you know that i've been doing EVERYthing possible to "go." Its coming to the end of 37 weeks (when I delievered Brayden) and I'm VERY uncomfortable. Hopefully I'll be updating the blog this weekend with pictures of Baby #2! Check back frequently! ;)
