Busy family weekend

Mr. Blue Eyes:

We had a rough start to our week with a trip to the ER for Brayden... apparently he's still allergic to dairy/milk products, so we are back to avoiding those for the time being! Just had to share a photo from the hospital, can you believe they have hospital gowns for babies?! Thank goodness he was feeling better, because he was just so cute in his gown.

Grandma & Grandpa Gearhart came to visit this past weekend. Below are some video clips from that visit. We had nice weather and always enjoy visits from family!! Here are the biggest Penn State fans around!! hehe...

Mimi came to visit on Monday and we ran errunds all day! We picked out out Halloween costume- pictures to follow soon!! ;-) After a long nap, she read Brayden some stories.

On Thursday, Brayden and mummy drove to Lancaster to visit with Auntie!! We had fun watching Shrek on her big tv, wrecking her rec room and taking a walk down at Muddy Run park! We LOVE our special "auntie time!"

The other day we picked out a few pumpkins to carve... Derek's is almost as big as Brayden!! :)
Here is ONE more pic of Brayden... he's loving the weather and getting outside, and I just can't resist taking tons of pictures of him. I mean, he IS the most ADORABLE thing ever, right?!?!

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins!

The None Such Farm Pumpkin Festival was a blast this weekend! We checked it out with our friends Keith, Suzanne and their son Noah (who is a month and a half younger than Brayden).

Daddy and Brayden picking their favorite pumpkin in the patch:

No! Don't eat that!! :)

Here is Brayden and his buddy Noah on the hayride. KISSES!! He's a lover, not a fighter, I promise!! A disgruntled Noah pushes Brayden away after countless attempts at hugs, kisses, and lets face it.... bullying! :)

What a happy guy! ;)

Fall 08 Begins!

Here's a summer update... a little behind on a few of these pics, but gotta show em off!

My parents and the bean in Charleston, SC (stopped for lunch on our way to Holden Beach)

Derek and Kathrine (Patient of Derek's who is the second time silver medalist of the Olympic Maraton)

And here's our little man... walkin everywhere!

I can't believe it's October already! The fall fun is just about to begin!! :)

Steeler and PSU football games, pumpkins, Halloween, fall leaves and of course, BRAYDEN'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! I know I've said this before, but boy does time fly!!!

Next weekend is the pumpkin festival at None Such Farm in Buckingham. YAY!! Derek just realized today that there won't be a "pumpkin" in/on my belly this year for Halloween, so I thought I'd just reminisce from last year.....lol

Last weekend was Derek's last Triathlon of the season at Hightstown, NJ. Derek coached cousin Josh through his first race! Great job Josh!

Brayden has been walking, walking, walking!!!! He's really on the move now and I have to watch his EVERY move. :) His latest "fun" activity: pulling tissues out of the box, unrolling the toilet paper, unfolding all of mummy's laundry, and throwing diapers all over his room! :)

Brayden LOVES bathtime so much-he just can't get enough of his rubber duckies!

Long time no see!

Ok, it's been a month straight of travelling, but we're back and ready to update!!

Here are a few pics from the 4th of July this year (I know i'm starting to sound like a broken record here, but my camera has been broken, so someone just shared them with us now!)

4 Generations of Gearharts:

The Gearhart Fam:

Unfortunately, Derek's grandpa passed away in mid August, so we all gathered in West Middlesex, PA. Here are a few family pics from the luncheon following the services.

Grandma with all the grandkids and GREATgrandchild- Brayden!

Then Brayden and I travelled with my parents down to South Carolina for Cole's graduation from Marine bootcamp!! After a 12 hour trip, we finally made it! While hurricane/tropical storm Hannah forced graduation to be moved up a day and attempted to "rain on our parade," we enjoyed our time in Beaufort, S.C.

Cole has grown in ways we can't explain, but the old brodda is still there! After 10 days leave, he will be headed down to "Camp Gieger" at Camp Lejune in North Carolina for a few more months of infantry training.

Immediately following graduation ceremony- Cole was INTENSE...

Here's the Coleby we all know and love!!

Proud parents at the monument: (you'd never know Hannah was going to show her fury in a few hours!!)

After a quick stop in gorgeous Charleston, S.C., the entire Miller clan travelled north to Holden Beach, N.C. We had an amazing beach front home where lots of new memories were made... Braydens first steps on the sand and in the ocean, lots of drunken wii playing, good FOOD, and quality time with the whole gang again.

First time at the ocean!

Minutes later, a large wave would roll upon the shore threatening my baby AND that wonderful glass of wine, BUT HAVE NO FEAR! I saved them BOTH! ;)

THEN, after hanging with the Millers, we headed farther north to the Outer Banks for a few more beach days with the Gearharts!

Brayden in his surfer outfit:

Playin in the water!

After some ice cream!!

Thats all for now, but check back soon for graduation pics and more beach pics!
