Happy 50th Birthday!

Here are a few photos from this past weekend. We surprised Denise at a restaurant with all the family for her BIG 50th birthday!

Denise in her "over the hill/spa b-day" inspired birthday garb:

What else would a 50 year old want for her BIG birthday??? A wii of course! (and a wii fit to get her into her fabulous fit body!)

After the party, i was pooped- apparently the dogs were too and thought they needed to cuddle...

Can't forget Gobi...

The fam at grandma's (you can't get that boy to sit still for more than 3.2 seconds, so this is what you get!)

Playing in the grass:

Grandmas shouting at Brayden in the grass!

I can't get enough of this face!!

Coleby-D

well... Cole got his "orders" this week... His platoon is headed to Somilia & Afghanastan by the summer- 2 of the most dangerous places to be on the earth right now... :'( Please pray for his safety (and the rest of the armed forces who are stationed away from home).
Now for more positive news: Cole came home again this weekend to take Hope to the prom! Here are a few adorable pics of the love birds:

TONS of Easter weekend pics

We started our easter weekend on Friday afternoon when daddy got home from work! We went to the park (see some video in the previous blog post).

When we got home, we found the Easter package from Nana & Papa G! Brayden LOVES playing with "gadgets" like cell phones and remotes, so mommy & daddy appreciate the play phone more than he does I think! Thank you!! =)

Then Josh and Kristine came over for the race on Saturday morning... Here are some rainy day race pics:

Still smiling after all the rain and being frozen to the core!! Great job guys!

After the race, we took Josh and Kristine to the dublin diner for some lunch and WARM coffee(one of the best meals I've eatten in a while!!) and then we headed to the Miller's to celebrate Cole's 20th birthday!! here are some "odd" pics from that and Easter sunday...

Note the candles say 21 (yes, we didn't have a zero, so we thought it would be nice to round up for Coles sake). Then note the half empty wine bottle and you'll understand the crazy pics below!

Attempting to teach daddy what "cool" is... LOL

Here Hope (Cole's GF) and I try to be "cool" ???

Brayden playing with his favorite Easter toy from Great Grandma Miller:

Some recent videos

Here is a video from our afternoon at the park the other day... This is brayden's favorite thing to do everyday. He brings me his jacket and sneakers each afternoon when he's "ready" to go outside. =) I felt horrible today when he brought me his shoes and it was pouring out! Guess we'll be headed to the YMCA this afternoon!!

Here is a video from our easter dinner at Uncle Craig & Laura's this weekend. It was pretty cold and windy, so I appologize for the sound issues!

Some more pics will follow shortly, so stay posted! =)

Playdate with Noah!

Last month we had a wonderful 60 degree day and you better believe that Suzanne and I took full advantage of the weather to get the boys out of the house! Here are a couple pics from our afternoon at the park. (courtesy of Suzanne Collier Photography http://philadelphiaweddingstory.blogspot.com Check out more of her work, she's GREAT!)

Brayden giving hugs... They're best buds!

"Easter celebration"/visit

A few weekends ago Chuck and Denise came to visit Brayden (we all know they didn't come to see US!! haha!) Both Brayden and I were getting over colds/strep throat, so it was nice to have company to take our minds off of being sick and get us out!

Since we'll be with the Miller's for Easter, we had a little Easter egg hunt for Brayden. He did a great job finding the eggs- as you can see, they were hidden pretty well.... haha!

Grandma stuffed animal crackers in the eggs, and Brayden found that shaking the eggs was more entertaining than picking up the eggs and putting them in his pail (and then taking them out again, and putting them back in, etc. etc!)

And since mommy doesn't let Brayden eat sweets yet, animal crackers are the perfect yummy snack. Of course he can't stuff as many in his mouth at one time like he does with cheerios, but he sure tried!

I just have to post a note here now regarding the basketball polls... hahahahahaha!! (was that an evil laugh or what?!) Even if I don't win, at least Derek, Dane and Chuck and maybe even Denise won't! In some way, shape or form, everyone had pitt or louisville for the final game, most having pitt winning it all! :) All I have to say is "go Uconn!" hehe....
