I just had to share a few of these pics... After my post yesterday, Cole has been on my mind. So, at the Memorial Day Parade in Doylestown this morning, I took advantage of everyone waving flags & cheering on the veterans.

Its been too long...

Have I mentioned recently that we have ALOT going on??? =)

We are blessed to finally be moved into our new house, unpacked and maybe 60% decorated.


We love the charm of our 'new' old house with 4 (count 'em, FOUR!) bedrooms, central air, huge back yard, etc, etc... I'll get some more pictures and post them soon- i promise!

We also have a new vehicle. We upgraded to a larger more "carseat-friendly" Ford Edge. Now we have no excuses to come visit you (Wherever you may be in the lower 48).



This weekend is Memorial Day weekend filled with picnics & parades, but I want to reflect on our servicemen & women who have served (past & present). THANK YOU!!

Its hard not to think of my little brother sweating away in ******* while we have our AC, shade, cold iced teas/beer & hotdogs. He and all his men are fighting this minute while you're sitting here reading my post. Think about how that must feel to be away from your loved ones on a holiday... you can jump in your car in 5 minutes and run to the grocery store or go to the movies. It's because of people like Cole that we're able to do that!! So Thank YOU, Cole. Your big sis is sitting with tears rolling down her cheeks while thinking of how much she misses you more than 1/2 way around the world...

So long for now!

Just a few updates...

So Bryce is growing like a WEED!! I actually have a "problem" with how fast he's growing: although he was born one month farther into the winter season, he has quickly out grown Brayden's hand-me-downs! =) He can fit into Brayden's summer things (6-9mo) but it's still too cold to wear shorts, tees & onesies! I'm guestimating Bryce to be about 15lbs these days. I can only hold him in my arms for about 10mins before I start looking for my Moby wrap or the swing! That is another reason I got him a new seat -see pics below-

Here is an example of Brayden's rock-star sorting abilities! hehe... He will sort just about ANYthing by color or shape or size! (i love how you can see his hand holding all the "chocolate candies" of the trail mix to the right)

I've been horrible about updating lately (come on! I have a new baby, a CRAZY toddler and flood problems!) But here are just some everyday pics of the boys, nothing in particular...

Brayden put these on Bryce the other day, haha! It sort of looks like Bryce is crying but he had a HUGE smile on his face just prior to me snaping the picture!

This is what I walked out to after taking a shower one morning this week... Um.... yes, a bag of balloons and rice cereal spread all over the floor!!! It was actually one of those funny "classic" moments that I just couldn't yell at Brayden!

Derek's new office!

Derek's office moved this weekend (just down a few blocks across from the Doylestown Hospital) into a brand new suite. Here are a few pictures of the place during their open house today:

Boy's Baptism weekend

Oh my, what a weekend this was...

Dane & Sam arrived on Friday. Brayden is always excited to see them- here he is Saturday morning in their bed (watching Monsters Inc.)

And later right before nap time:


Nana & Pop-pop Gearhart and Grandma Williams came Saturday afternoon. Here is Brayden playing with pop-pop in the basement (literally a few hours before pure HELL set in... *more on that later)

Saturday afternoon was a mess of a storm... Our power went out for good around 4PM. Once the power went out, the sump pumps quit working, and THUS- we flooded! It literally went from *wet* to 14" in 2-3 hours! All I have to say is, thank goodness for family! While it may have seemed a little stressful to have a houseful of people, it was the greatest blessing! Gigi (grandma Williams) took total posession over Bryce (Thank you!!) and Nana & Sam took over keeping Brayden occupied (Thank YOU!!) I was on the phone to the landlord, the plumber, the fire company, Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, etc. and all the guys were busy moving all the boxes in the basement to keep our "loses" to a minimum...

Long story short, we all ended up staying in a hotel Saturday. We made it to the baptism on Sunday morning, although I asked Pastor Bryant if maybe he could sprinkle some *sunshine* instead of water- as we'd had ENOUGH water in our lives!! =)

Bryce is wearing *part of* the outfit my dad and brother wore to be baptized in! Unfortunately we have a tubby boy on our hands and the shirt couldn't be buttoned, so the jacket had to do! =)
