With the change in presidents today, I had a moment of reflection in my short life... I like to think that my generation has been brought up without as much influence on skin color as generations in the past, and can only imagine Brayden's future! wow...

Have to share this story with you... Yesterday, Brayden and I went in to Derek's office over lunch to visit and so I could get some treatment (after straining my back bringing the new car seat up the stairs while talking on my cell phone... what did we learn here???)

Anyway, it was about 2 o'clock when we left home and we didn't get back until 8:15!! In 2 hours, 3 inches of snow fell in Doylestown, and the entire place was practically disabled!!! Cars were only driving 5 MPH and sliding everywhere! It took me an hour to go 2 miles, so Brayden and I ended up just pulling over and playing in CVS for an hour until Derek came to get us. Because the roads were still horrible, we tried the restaurant next door to the CVS and then decided to try the trek home.... another HOUR later, we finally made it the rest of the FIVE miles home!! ....At least we know that Brayden can sleep in his new car seat! :-/

....We aren't in upstate NY anymore Dorothy!!! :( These folks around here just don't know how to handle the white stuff....

...And to think I needed to fill this basket with something after taking out the winter greens from christmas....
