We decided last minute to take the boys to the beach and we made out well! The weather was warm, but slightly overcast with a cool breeze, and the water was FANTASTIC! =) Couldn't have asked for better summer beach weather!!
It only takes an hour & 10 to get to a nice family beach in NJ, so we went just for the morning. After a quick trip to Target for a beach umbrella & sunscreen, we were off!
We went to Ocean Grove, NJ first... A nice little beach & town, but on Sundays, the beach doesn't open until 12:30. I wish we would have known that ahead of time!! We already had the boys out and car unpacked when a local stopped & let us know. Back into the car and down the road we headed. We ended up at the next beach south and here are some pictures:
Brayden wasn't too keen on the water, so he stayed busy with his digger & sand pails.
Bryce was unsure of the "gritty" stuff, especially how it TASTED! haha, but he was a good sport...
Brayden found some seashells and is checking them out...
I love sandy baby feet! ;)
