Please Touch Museum

While Chuck and Denise were visiting this weekend, we all took the kiddos to a cool kids museum in Philly called Please Touch.

This is essentially a place for kids to learn about the adult world. Everything from riding a city bus, to gardening to grocery shopping were simplified for kids to experience. Its a REALLY fun place to check out!

When you turn the wheel, a little fork picks up a ball and it when it reaches the top, it goes down through the spirals... pretty simple idea, but Brayden LOVED it!
Mommy and Bryce riding the metro
Nana and Brayden waiting in line for the digger!
Pop-pop teaching Brayden how to operate the machinery
Bryce and Pop-pop racing cars

The biggest, coolest dump truck ever!

The Water works where Brayden learned how waves are made, currents, rain and boats
In the swans nest, holding a baby swan
hopping on the lily pads...
This is the medical center where Brayden *ALL ON HIS OWN*
1. Changed this baby's diaper- including powder!
2. Dressed him up and gave him a few sips of the bottle,
3. Put him in the crib and covered him with the blanket! It was the sweetest thing!
Bryce enjoyed the extra large doll house :)
Downstairs is an entire recreation of the maze in Alice in Wonderland. It was really neat! You could paint the roses red, knock hedgehogs through card hoops, weird mirrors and even a hallway that made you feel like you were getting bigger (or the hallway was shrinking....)
Lastly, there was a large "grocery store" where the kids pushed around a minature cart to shop for everyday things! It was my favorite part to watch Brayden get HIS favorite things! Most importantly lots of FRUIT and popcorn and animal crackers. :) They even got to check out at the end!
(I have a lot more shots of this, however blogger is being a pain tonight and not letting me download anymore.... GRR!)
